Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2017 Chevy Cruze we're gonna be showing you how to install the PTC custom fit cabin air filter. Here's a really good example of our new filter next to the old one that we removed. And if you take a look at that old one, a lot of junk in there, dust and dirt, and everything else. And this is why it's important to keep your filter clean and replaced because it catches all this stuff and rather, I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have all that stuff blown in my face and out of my vents and in the car. So by replacing it, this one's carbon as well and so it's gonna do a good job of helping to minimize odors 'cause you get some wet debris in there and it just gets musty inside and everything else. more

Hey guys, Kevin etrailer, and today I'll be showing you how to install the PTC Cabin Air Filter here on our 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500. If you find that the air quality in your vehicle has started to dip, maybe you have a lot of allergies and you just having issues breathing inside the cab of your vehicle, then swapping out your air filter is one of the best steps to fixing that. And on top of that, a lot of the time, when you go to get an oil change you're gonna notice that they're gonna try and upsell you on replacing this filter, but you shouldn't pay for that. You can easily do this yourself within just a couple of minutes. As you can see, our old filters full of debris. There's a lot of leaves in here, a lot of dust build up inside of that. more

Our new filter is going to be constructed of a white media particulate, it does have pleats. What these pleats are going to do is they're going to trap any dirt and debris coming through your air box. This is going to make the air a lot cleaner for you and your passengers.In my right hand is our old filter and in my left hand is our new filter. As you can see, there's a lot of dirt and debris inside our pleats, and what this is going to do is it's going to make our air box work a lot harder, so our AC unit is going to be stressed over time. more

Ryan: How's it going Ryan here at etrailer.com, today on our 2019 Chevrolet Colorado, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter. Not a lot of people know just how easy it is to replace your Cabin air filter, and it's really beneficial to do that from time to time. And that's because it's going to allow your HVAC system to blow freely and not have any restrictions.This is whenever they get really dirty, the air isn't going to blow nearly as hard as if it we're clean, and, that filter catches all those allergens and dirt and dust. So that prevents it from coming inside of the vehicle, and bothering your allergies and getting everything dusty. Overall, just a good thing to do every now and again.Just to give you guys a quick comparison, here on the left, we have the factory Cabin air filter and on the right, we have the PTC and as you can see, they're pretty much identical.And even with this being pretty much a brand new pickup truck, you can see this factory one is already starting to catch some dirt and dust and things of that nature.So that's the type of thing set, our cabin air filters are going to prevent from entering your HVAC system. Today on our 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the PTC custom fit cabin air filter.So here's what our old cabin filter looks like, compared to the new one. Now you can see that our old cabin filter's getting a little dirty, and it's turning a little brown, but if we actually open up the pleats on the filter, we can see all the larger pieces of debris that it's catching.Now if these large pieces make it further down into our cooling system and our heating system, can actually cause a lot of damage to all the components. So it's always an important thing to check your cabin filter to make sure these particles aren't getting into the HVAC system.Our new filter's gray, and that's because it's gonna be a charcoal filter. It's gonna filter out a lot more of the odors that we can get, whether it be from smoking, gas fumes, or anything else, and it's gonna be a lot more beneficial for people that have breathing problems over the white media particulate filter.Now one thing a lot of people don't think about whenever they're driving down the road, is the air quality inside their car. We don't know that the air outside can't be full of pollutants, but what most people don't know is that the inside air can actually be six times more polluted than the air outside. That's why it's important to check your cabin air filter, because it's gonna filter all that air that we're breathing inside of our car.Our cabin filter is gonna do for our car what our furnace filter does for our house. more

Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter. Now if you'll notice the difference between our old one and our new one, you want to change these, I would say check them every six months. You want to change them at least once a year. This is going to allow your air to flow into the vehicle pretty well. It's going to keep any of that dirt, debris, anything like that from coming in and having you breathe it yourself, so it's going to make your air a lot cleaner inside the vehicle.To start our installation, on our passenger side we're going to open both glove boxes. We're going to have four star bits we need to remove, or Torx bits. more

Today on our 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the PTC custom fit cabin air filter.Here we have the old cabin air filter out of our Chevy 3500 Silverado compared to a new one. As you can see, there's a little bit of difference. You're supposed to change these filters once every year. I'm assuming this is the original one. The truck has about 70,000 miles on it. You can see a huge difference. more
